Steinlog vs Tendium:
which fits a construction bid team?

Tendium (SE) sells an AI-driven public-sector sales platform under the line "Grow your public sector sales", built around a trial-first funnel with a scripted first session. It publishes a clear price anchor — from €125/month with unlimited users — and reports 1,395+ customers. It advertises payment-data insights for Sweden, Norway and Finland, which may be a meaningful advantage in those markets. We did not find public materials describing construction-specific workflows such as inschrijvingsstaat or RAW/STABU BoQ handling, or addendum diffing mapped into construction bid tasks. As of July 2026, based on public materials.

Said plainly

What Tendium is good at.

Honest comparisons name the other side's real strengths. Here is where Tendium earns it.

  • +

A public, unlimited-seat price anchor — "from €125/mo, everyone included" — removes the seat-anxiety objection that most of this category hides behind a sales call.

  • +

A large, proven customer base (1,395+) and payment-data insights for Sweden, Norway and Finland, which may be a meaningful advantage in those markets.

  • +

A scripted, trial-first onboarding that gets a new user to a first result quickly.

The trade

Where Steinlog is different.

Not a superset of Tendium — a different shape, built around the full journey from a found tender through to submission readiness.

  • Construction depth Tendium does not claim to have: inschrijvingsstaat, RAW/STABU bills of quantities, UEA and Nota van Inlichtingen handled natively.

  • The bid keeps moving after discovery — deadline cascade, addendum diffing and draft assembly, not just an opportunity feed.

  • Consortium data rooms for multi-partner bids, a case Tendium’s public materials do not address.

  • Ireland (EU) assistant inference and a per-client EU database, argued at the architecture level.

  • /start: connect a live TenderNed tender and generate an initial bid plan in the product, in the same spirit as Tendium’s public pricing — transparency without a sales call.

Verdict

Steinlog vs Tendium.

Tendium is a strong, transparently priced platform if the job is finding and qualifying public-sector sales opportunities across any category. It is not built for construction bid assembly, and does not claim to be. Steinlog is narrower by market but deeper on the trade: it picks up the file after discovery and carries it through the construction-specific documents to submission readiness.
