About
A bid is a project.
So we built it one.
Why we built it
A public construction tender can run to thousands of pages, three to six addenda, a dozen formal requirements, and a submission window measured in weeks. It's prepared by people under deadline pressure — often across several companies — and a single missed change or unsigned form can make the whole bid non-conforming.
And yet most of it still runs on email attachments, shared drives and a spreadsheet someone keeps by hand. The tools that exist treat the bid as a document to store, not a project to run.
Steinlog treats bid preparation as what it is: high-stakes, deadline-driven, multi-party project work. The submission date generates the plan. Every change is attributed. A last-minute clarification is mapped to what it touches. Nothing important is left to someone remembering it at 6 p.m.
What we hold to
The record is the point
Attribution and history aren’t features bolted on — they’re how a team stays honest with itself under pressure.
AI assists, never decides
It reads, compares and drafts, always with sources. It never prices, authors engineering, or gates a submission.
EU by design
Documents and databases stay in the EU, isolated per client, and out of AI training. Assistant inference runs in Ireland (EU); OCR and embeddings are disclosed and may leave the EU. Not a setting — the default.
Who we are
A small team,
close to real bids.
We're a focused team building Steinlog with a handful of contractors in the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany — on their real tenders, not in a lab. The product changes with what those bids demand.
